Mitsubishi shogun 2.5Lt Turbo direct injection, modified the turbo to twin blades, modified the fuel pump’s governor, modified the intercooler the big one, done lots of stuff with the rack and pinion, modified the trans. the close ratio. that’s the only car that i regretted of selling. still think of it though.

i have tried looking it up but nothing comes up…..the car im looking at says it has great gas milage but who knows it might be good for 1962 but i need it to be good for 2008……can anyone help???
Back then, I believe it was called the Chevy 2 (II). It came with either a 4 cylinder (stove bolt 6 with 2 cylinders cut off) or the straight 6. The 4 cylinder with manual trans could get very good mileage in good tune. I could tune it and drive to get about 35 mpg. The 6 with automatic was not so good (low to mid 20s?). If it has a V-8, it’s not original to that year (i think about 64 or 65 was the first Nova V-8).

I am currently restoring my 1962 Chevy II Nova, and my emblems around the body are in fair condition, but do need to be cleaned and polished somewhat. I would like to save some money since the emblems can be expensive.
Yes, baking soda and water. I have also heard of cutting a lemon in half, sprinkling some salt on it, and use that. The lemon juice has just enough citric acid in it to help cut any crud and the salt acts as a very mild abrasive.

I was just wondering if anyone knew where I would be able to find rear seat belts of different colors for a 1962 Nova…I’m looking for the stock light blue color and so far can only find black. Thanks!
